1. Who Qualifies for Internships?College students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. Qualifying students must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; you must speak at least 2 languages (highly recommend Spanish), strong computer research skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; be a self-starter; and have strong organizational and time management skills. 2. Do I have to be a student to be accepted for the internship programs?You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program to participate. 3. 4. How to Apply?You need to apply for each offer you are interested in. We don´t keep your cv details. 5. After I submit my internship application, what happens?First of all, your application will be checked by Demg International, if your profile is selected we will notify the hiring company that will invite you to have a phone interview. For incomplete profile we'll ask further informations (Note that an ID photo is necessary for applying to jobs in Spain). Please note that each application will be answered within one week. For the successful applicants an engagement letter will need to be signed and returned to DEMG within the following 15 days. 6. How will I know if I'm not selected?You will receive an email. 7. If I'm not a European citizen, am I eligible to participate in the internship program?You are eligible, but you must have a student work visa. 8. Am I compensated for the internship program?Usually interns are not paid but It is up to the company to decide what can of compensation they can offer: however, they are eligible to receive credit for undergraduate or graduate work through their college or university. 9. What about the accommodation?Demg will find and place each student in a host family, or residence. |
