For 2010, sports is the name of the game and for the first time a ‘Hall of Spain’ dedicated to sports will be a key feature of the event where visitors will be able to wander through 80 years of Spanish sporting history and experience the diversity of Spain’s vast sports offering.

An interactive sports area awaits those keen to get their heart rate going with a unique F1 simulator featuring the Montmeló FI track in Barcelona and state-of-the-art MotoGP simulators replicating the popular ‘Circuito de Jerez’ in Andalucía.

Visitors can compete in a range of sporting contests or unleash their inner child with a golf simulator in the Madrid area and a full scale Scalextric hosted by Valencia.

Gastro fans or culture vultures can stroll through Aragón, Andalucía, Segovia, Valencia and Navarra to unravel the secrets of the regions and sample some tasty ‘comida Española’ such as jamón, gazpacho, piglet and paella.

For island sunshine, Gran Canaria offers the chance to pick up a sunny holiday snapshot and guests can even try virtual horse riding in the Balearics. The main stage will welcome highly acclaimed Spanish guitarist Paco Fernández and La Gente del Sol plus Foc i Fum from Ibiza, Spanish indie artist Annie B Sweet from Málaga, brass band Charanga

La Chicuelina from Segovia and traditional flamenco music from Andalucía.
